Trotsky My take in these situations is the kid better not have had the grades. Otherwise there's just no excuse not to have landed him. According to this thread on uscho: He had good grades.by pfibiger - Hockey
Re: Where are our Alumni Playing Now - 5 years ago
Trotsky Manderville suited up for Team East in the CJHL Prospects Game back in January and is ranked #165 by International Scouting Services for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft being held in Dallas, TX. Gee, that might have come in handy. I have no idea what drove that decision -- my hunch is that Colgate's ability to offer a full-ride scholarship didn't hurt -- but this is a huge bummer. redliner Anyone know what happened to Coach Schafer? RPI announcers said that he had to head to the locker room. Schafer seems to be ok in the locker room. So good news all around.— ELynah (@ELynah) February 24, 2018by pfibiger - Hockey
Re: NCAA D1 Mens Hockey Revenues - 6 years ago
I wonder if this has to do with how Agganis Arena is budgeted? If it's primarily an ice hockey facility, but gets rented out for other events, does that revenue "belong" to the Hockey team(s)? It appears to get used for a lot of different things throughout the year, so that additional income could easily drive the rest of that revenue number.by pfibiger - Hockey

Re: Polls 2017-18 - 6 years ago
scoop85 Trotsky jeff '84 The January 2nd polls were released. Up to #4 in USA Today; Stayed #5 in USCHO.We got a first place vote in USCHO. (?!) No complaints about how we're playing, but there's no way to justify giving us a 1st place vote over a red-hot Clarkson team that beat us soundly in our own building. Casey probably felt bad voting for himselfby pfibiger - Hockey
On Cornell leaving the Florida College Classic - 6 years ago
Cornell’s roots ran deep throughout the Florida College Hockey Classic, having participated all 17 years and winning four tournament championships. Brush, himself, is a Cornell alumnus, having played hockey for the Big Red for four years, including being a member of the school’s 1970 undefeated NCAA championship team. Re: Where are our Alumni Playing Now - 6 years ago
Trotsky Speaking of, kinda, has the Ratushny-Manderville union produced any prospective Cornell players in the pipeline? It has: Ethan Manderville, 6'4" 200lbs and eligible for the upcoming NHL draft, where he's a C-rated prospect. He's playing for the Ottawa Jr Senators, but was drafted by the Cedar Rapids Roughriders. He's also toward the top (top 10) of Heisenberg's roughly-sorted Easteby pfibiger - Hockey

Trotsky ursusminorAlso RPI incoming recruit Bailey Conger decommitted. This is his second decommitment since he originally was a SLU recruit and left their fold when they changed coaches a year ago. I wonder if this has ever happen before.IIRC we lost a decommit to Michigan who subsequently decommitted from Michigan and went to the QMJHL.
