This is a Sun article, not the official announcement. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another player especially if Barron does leave.by pfibiger - Hockey

Swampy Trotsky Cornell goalies, wins, career: 78 Dryden 65 McKee 65 Scrivens 58 Iles 57 Galajda Didn’t Dryden do that in 3 years while the others took four (except for Galajda, who has the rest of this year and all of next)? McKee only played for three years.by pfibiger - Hockey

From this review of the CJHL Top Prospects Game: LW Kyler Kovich Nanaimo, BCHL | 6’0, 180 | 1/31/02 | NCAA: Undecided Kovich easily was one of the more impressive forwards throughout the game. He was physical with an in-your-face style, but he also looked very smooth with the puck in transition while showing off soft hands. Kovich spent most of the match on Team West’s top line with Danby pfibiger - Hockey

The Nanaimo pipeline reopens! Looks like we picked up a commitment from Jack O'Brien, Nanaimo defenseman: Congrats to Nanaimo Clippers D Jack O'Brien on his commitment to Cornell University!#ModernHockey @ShawInfo 📸 @garrettjames22 pic.twitter.com/bLU79ib7ku— BC Hockey League (@GoBCHL) January 15, 2020by pfibiger - Hockey

adamw ugarte Beeeej A Test, of Time Cornell Continues to Move Forward: Is This The Year? wait a second - is that an ex-eLF guy writing? This is where I pound my desk, throw a shoe at my screen, and scream that he's been writing a couple dozen articles per year for CHN for the past 12 years. Most of us know, and very much appreciate, the content Avash (and you) create. Thanks for doing CHNby pfibiger - Hockey

Replacing ELF Chat for game nights - 4 years ago
All, I chatted with Age and it looks like it won't be straightforward to bring chat back. It seems like the easiest path is to replace it with an existing chat app, and Slack seems like a straightforward candidate. You can use it on your phone or on the web. You can choose if you want notifications and for what. We can segment channels into 'game chat' and 'out of town scores' etc. Here's tby pfibiger - Hockey
Supporting ELynah (a gentle reminder) - 4 years ago
I find it easy to forget and take this place for granted, but Age puts a ton of time and money into providing this for us. There's a paypal link in the lower right (sort of hidden below the fold, if you ask me.) I just donated again, and I hope others will as well. Thanks for all you do, Age!by pfibiger - Hockey
Re: Please take down that f@*#in COR 0 - PRV 4 tweet - 4 years ago
We could set up a free slack for game night chats. I don’t want to step on Age’s toes but it’d be pretty low effort (and great on mobile)by pfibiger - Hockey

Re: Opponent News 18-19 - 5 years ago
Trotsky pfibigerWould Ben Syer apply? I’d take a hard look at him if I were running that search. If he aims for a head coaching gig that seems like an ideal job. In the conference so he's already quite familiar, and he comes on the heels of a legendary coach failing to fix a shitshow which suggests there is NOTHING but upside. Plus while small SLU is a prestige gig with ahem "total commitmeby pfibiger - Hockey
Re: Opponent News 18-19 - 5 years ago
RichH TimV Iceberg One has to wonder whom SLU hires next after the obvious failure with Morris Brent Brekke? He is well known now to the region. My blind-guess is that Brekke seems very comfortable in the role he's been in for 15 years. I like the name floated by Mike McMahon of CHN: Kris Mayotte. Currently Associate Head Coach with Leaman at Providence, he played at Union (under Leaman),by pfibiger - Hockey
