Re: Lynah East Tickets.... - 18 years ago
I purchased at the ticket window at Sucks. They opened the window right at 10 am. I asked the kid if I could get seats in Section 16 or 15 or so and he said. "I have a few in section 20, or I could get you a pair in section 16". I asked if there was anything else and he said not really. So I took 6 in Section 20, row C. Anyway, I said "Hey, I thought tickets went on sale juby crodger1 - Hockey

Re: Whats the deal with I2sports - 19 years ago
If you are getting just one, then get the realaudio -- that way you can get the away games also. I didn't have many problems with i2sports. There were a couple of glitches in just one or two of the games, and overall I was very pleased. I'll note that I have a cable modem, XP, use WMP, and have a computer that's about a year and 3/4 old. I wish they had an instant replay, but we typicallyby crodger1 - Hockey

I think AnneDVM and I missed 2 home games on the net (one to watch the women play at Harvard). Didn't make it to a single home game in person Oh, and I should add that (using IE on XP) I would right click on the video, copy the url, then open that url with Windows media player so we could watch either 3/4 or full screen. Yeah, it of course went away the day after I signed up for that SportsPass thing (I ordered it Thursday to be sure there would be no issues Friday). It was a bit of a tease on their parts to list it as being listenable and then get rid of it (probably shortly before game time). Hopefully they'll actually get it going. Now iby crodger1 - Hockey

Re: HockeyCam? - 19 years ago
I'm a bit concerned. i2sports calendar hasn't been updated since April/May. I thought they tended to do a lot of cross-country/track meets, which would seem to be appropriate at this time of year. Maybe Athletics will be running their own -- like during the playoff games? I sure hope we get some sort of video. LGR! Chrisby crodger1 - Hockey
Re: Lynah East 2005 - Single Tickets on Sale 9/20 - 19 years ago
Just got mine as well. The guy was more concerned whether I had been on hold forever than whether I was a Cornell fan (he said they were getting creamed by phone calls). I'd been calling since 10 but getting a "call back" message. At about 10:20 I got a please hold, and then about a 2 minute wait. They were very pleasant. For fun I just read the NCAA rules equipment section. There was no mention of the fight strap in the equipment requirements. Also amusing... "Jewelry shall not be worn, except for religious or medical medals, which shall be taped to the body under the uniform." Age, next message and previous message used to work temporally (so you could find the first new message in a previously read topic and just hit those buttons to move forwards in time). The new ones just move down the list seqentially, right (as opposed to temporally)? Chrisby crodger1 - Hockey

I just heard a radio ad on WBZ1030 about the SUCKS games. "This traffic report brough to you by Athletics. blah blah blah." (That's not Facetimer, that's the report.) Schafer didn't react, that I could tell. From our section (G) it sure looked like it went in and back out. I don't think the Cornell bench would have had the greatest view, but we had a pretty good view of it.by crodger1 - Hockey

Quick postgame tonight because the game had lasted a bit longer than usual (TV timeouts, and the fight at the end). Review of the game chronologically. Review included goals, booting of players. Bitz got tossed for "excessive roughness", which they concluded might mean spearing. At the end O'Byrne was DQ'ed along with two Colgate players (Silversieve and somebody, but they didn't knby crodger1 - Hockey
