TrotskyRoeszler in for Joe Devin. I assume that means Fontas drops back to D. No, Devin was playing with Scott and Gallagher. Checking line of Scali, Fontas and Nicholls is intact.by ACM - Hockey

Re: Cornell 5, Quinnipiac 3 (postgame) - 16 years ago
See the NCAA Ice Hockey Statisticians Manual, page 10, section 8, article 6: Penalty shots are not considered power-play opportunities. A goal scored on a penalty shot is always even-strength, however it should be noted if the attempt was awarded during a power-play or short-handed situation.by ACM - Hockey

Re: Retired Number - 16 years ago
Doug '08redicereilly83White #25 was worn at the red/white scrimage tonight, which made me wonder: Has anyone heard anything about whether there are still plans to retire Nieuwendyk's number this fall? Has the idea just been quietly dropped? Does anyone know who was wearing that #25 tonight? It was not identified on the rosters provided to the public. 25 was being worn by one of the club plby ACM - Hockey

James Vaughan '77, Ice Hockey Vaughan was named to the All-Ivy second team as a senior and received honorable mention All-Ivy accolades as a junior. He led the team in scoring as a junior with 68 points, which at the time was Cornell's fourth-best season mark, and he topped the team in goals scored in 1975 (23). At the end of his three-year varsity career, he ranked fourth (currently sixth) onby ACM - Hockey

Award winners were: Eva Ames Award (not mentioned in the program, but presented to someone concerned with the health and well-being of the players, or something like that): Dr. David Wentzel CHA Lifetime Membership Award: Nevin D.by ACM - Hockey

Re: Incorrect score reporting at Lynah tonight - 17 years ago
Apologies for the incorrect score. I just read what I'm given (see attached). One person in the pressbox calls around to the various game sites for score updates, then that person calls another person at the scorer's table and relays the information. The person at the scorer's table writes the scores down and hands the sheet to me, and I read what's there. Obviously, the process broke down somewhby ACM - Hockey
