Re: LeNeveu #1 in the nation - 22 years ago
Also, since we allowed 2 tonight and Ryanmiller State... err, Michigan State allowed 3 (and lost to Notre Dame), we're creeping up on them for #1 in the nation on team defense... 1.77 as a team for us, 1.74 as a team for MSU. Impressive indeed that we have two goalies that can put up such great numbers.by Josh '99 - Hockey

After a slow start (other than his two goals at BU), Matt McRae's been on fire lately. Definitely great to see him get it going. McMeekin's goal was set up by an amazing individual effort by Iggulden, drove towards the net along the goal line then put a beauty of a pass out into the slot, McMeekin had a lot of net to shoot at and didn't miss. Hornby's late goal was another one of those that maby Josh '99 - Hockey

To provide more insight into a possible answer to my own question: From an article in this morning's Sun: "Leading the charge for Yale is rookie sensation Chris Higgins, who is third in the ECAC in scoring (10 goals, nine assists). Higgins is a sore spot for the Red, considering that he reneged on a verbal agreement to attend Cornell."by Josh '99 - Hockey
