Two current players, Bardreau and Ryan, were named to the United States National Junior Evaluation Camp roster. Also, Big Red Puckhead is reporting that Cornell has received a commitment from Woody Hudson for the 2013-14 season. I found this somewhat interesting: BRP He had originally committed to RIT last August but had a change of heart during the winter. So, in a matter of two months,by Aaron M. Griffin - Hockey

This came across my twitter-feed earlier. Minnesota, like most B1G schools, invests a lot of time in media surrounding its programs. So, they've been counting down the top-ten goals of the last season. This led me to two ideas. Why does not Cornell do something similar? It does not involve much time. The video edits and collection would take no more than half an hour. That is assuming the worby Aaron M. Griffin - Hockey

billhoward Cornell has often used Reunion and the midwinter CALC (Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference, moving from DC to Boston for January 2013) to announce events like this. Now with Michigan set, what about the Cornell-BU Red Hot Hockey series that played MSG that last three odd-number years? Beeeej Aaron M. Griffin I am glad that so many people are alarmed about a shootout deciding a hockey game based upon a skills competition. It is unthinkable to desire the team with the more skilled players to win a sporting event. How outlandish an idea! It is outlandish, because scoring on penalty shots is an infinitesimally small portion of the skills required of players and teams to win hockby Aaron M. Griffin - Hockey

redice Ben Scrivens and his Toronto Marlies just lost a heart-breaker in game three of the Calder Cup finals. Nursing a 0-0 tie in OT, a puck thrown into the Marlies zone bounced off a stanchion and into the goal while Scrivens was waiting behind the net. css228 Aaron M. Griffin Aaron M. Griffin I am in the minority regarding the tie/OT/shootout debate, but it has been reported that tomorrow the NCAA will announce that college hockey programs will transition to a half shield over two years. CowbellGuy I've certainly given serious thought to doing a new version. After I did that one, I vowed never to do it again because it was north of 60 hours of work to stitch the images together and clean up the edges, not to mention all the test prints. However, the tools (and my gear) have gotten a lot better so it would be far less painful. I'd like to also choose a less auspicious game . So ifby Aaron M. Griffin - Hockey

Josh '99 I don't know if there is a similar but more recent picture, but I do know that Anthem looks even better in print than it does in digital form and you really should get a copy. I will have to get a copy. Maybe my request was a little odd, but the picture is great even if it is not exactly what I experienced during my time there.by Aaron M. Griffin - Hockey
Re: Generic Off Season Thread - 11 years ago
I think this classifies as an entirely generic and possibly random off-season question. I know that there is the panorama entitled Anthem available on the main eLynah page. However, I graduated after the recent renovations, so the picture from 2004 does not resemble what Lynah looked like while I was a student nor what it looks like currently. I was wondering if anyone knows if any similar hiby Aaron M. Griffin - Hockey

Robb KeithK You're making way too much of the Union thing. Union has finished first two years running and is the defending league champion.
