Re: If this is not illegal.....then its just pathetic - 20 years ago
Author: Greg Berge '85 Date: 10-31-03 21:55 Well, it aint illegal -- they can do anything they want with their tickets, provided they don't bias sales against an ethnicity, race, or gender. It is pathetic, though. They are effectively saying they would rather risk losing revenue with empty seats than have an assuredly full building, because they can't trust their own fans to buy tickets eaby marty - Hockey
Re: western michigan university @ cornell game 1 - 20 years ago
I think that the video was worth $5! It was good enough and I hope it improves each year. It streamed in at 360kbit/sec and Road Runner will actually pass over 3000 kbit/sec at times. So there is room for improvement as broadband Internet gets faster. I'm listening to the WMU coach bellyaching about the refs (on the "Bronco Radio Network". Re: cost of video feed? - 20 years ago

I think that the page was changed recently. I saw the hockey cam link there recently - or possibly on another page. I don't know the answer although I would try to clean the volume control with tuner or contact cleaner........but continuing this off topic thread: I bought an amazing antenna that may help me pick up WHCU this season. It was on close out at Radio Shcck for about $10. It is catalog 15-1853. I think that similar loop antennas usually sell for $50 to $90. This is a knock off of the expensive aby marty - Hockey

Re: Thinning the herd - 20 years ago
One of the goals that Coach Schafer made at the onset of his tenure was to make sellout crowds the norm at Lynah. It was no problem whatsoever to call the ticket office in January or February of '96 and buy tickets in the townie section. My family of four enjoyed two games that winter. We have tried to make this an annual event and can attest that since '96 tickets have been scarce.by marty - Hockey
