Re: ECAC Media and Coaches polls - 13 years ago
Can someone explain how they got the points in the coaches poll? My usual take is if there are 12 places in the poll, a 1st place vote is worth 12 pts, 2nd is worth 11 pts, and so on. Yale got 11 first place votes, which is 132 pts > 121 (printed number). About the only way I could suggest this is if this poll is skewed (1st place worth 11, and last place vote = zero), Yale would geby Chris 02 - Hockey

Re: You Are the Committee - 14 years ago
ryeguy Has any one been able to get Yale to drop out? I can't seem to. I've tried a few different ways and they still remain in. Try this: It involves a bunch of upsets in conference tournaments reducing the at-large pool.by Chris 02 - Hockey

The folks at USCHO don't seem real friendly with this kind of blog posting!!! Shouldn't we be taking a more positive approach to this process????by Chris 02 - Hockey

Re: HARVARD SUCKS - 14 years ago
I think it was more fun to bump this thread a bunch of times as the game approached. It almost seems less obvious when it's stuck around all the tech support threads.by Chris 02 - Hockey

Douglas Murray picked up an assist on the Sharks only regulation goal last night. And I'm not an Isles fan.by Chris 02 - Hockey
Re: Alumni In The Pros - October 2009 - 14 years ago
Josh '99sah67Matt Moulson had a nice primary powerplay assist late in the game, but the Isles fall to the Habs 3-2 in OT.Moulson has 8 points in his first 9 games of the season. If he keeps up the good scoring pace he has going, he'll earn a callup to the NHL soon. Isn't he already in the NHL?by Chris 02 - Hockey

Last meaningless poll - 15 years ago
Rather than start another thread, I'll post this here: In the final poll, Miami is both 2nd and 4th. And Cornell inexplicably gets dropped below Northeastern, while Bemijdi jumps up 3 spots in losing to Miami. Who votes in these things???by Chris 02 - Hockey
Re: Thank you, seniors - 15 years ago
jkahnKeithKjkahnI'm sure the lessons you've learned about teamwork and hard work will help make you successful contributors in whatever future endeavors you pursue. Because, as you know, there are 380,000 NCAA student-athletes and just about every one of them will go pro in something other than sports. If the NCAA wanted a better commercial to make that point, they should show Mark McRae's ECAC Cby Chris 02 - Hockey
