Jon Gleed's Bridgeport Sound Tigers were eliminated from the playoffs last night by Hershey. They were outshot 34-7 in the game, though in fairness their only first-period shot was a goal.by amerks127 - Hockey

Our players are very hesitant to do that. I've seen so many situations, over the years, where our players will lose a scoring opportunity because they do whatever it takes to shoot with the forehand. Re: Canadiens sign Brendon Nash to 2-Year Deal - 14 years ago
Let's be honest, the Oilers have sucked a lot since 2005-2006, when they still finished 3rd in their division. They are the worst team in the league by a mile and unlike the Penguins, Capitals and Blackhawks of the earlier part of the decade, they don't show any promise of improving soon. The Falcons, meanwhile, sit in last in the AHL and haven't finished above .500 since 1997-1998 (though theby amerks127 - Hockey

Not to reignite a debate about our athletic ticket office, but everyone should take note of Yale's package for its students: Yale Athletic Department The Department of Athletics, in conjunction with the President’s Office and the Dean’s Office, will subsidize the cost of an all-session ticket for Yale students. Chris '03-Tough job for the editors of the Sun to layout the front and back pages for tomorrow too. Too bad the w. hockey team will probably end up with less credit than is due given the other results. We're on spring break right now, so no print coverage until the following Monday. sockralex I wouldn't be happy if I saw one of our guys get rattled next to the glass like that. People were saying similar things about an RPI hit on one of the Cornell player's @ RPI last year. There was a couple of seconds left in the game and our player was skating with the puck heading towards the back of the net when the RPI player checked him and sent him into the boards. We're not going to remember who scored, but we're going to remember the rink and the fans and the atmosphere which is what it's all about, I think.&quoby amerks127 - Hockey
