Big Dingus Definitely agree with the fan cam. Could use some much needed production on the board. They don’t even show replays it’s a joke I think you missed the point....by Chris '03 - Hockey

arugula Perfect ending. Don’t step out of bounds and stop the clock. So dumb. The timeout after the lengthy review was really something too.by Chris '03 - Other Sports
Re: Fish N Fowl 11/11/23 - 5 months ago
upprdeck wouldnt the winning goal be the one that puts them ahead for good? As I understand it, the gwg is the goal that is decisive (4th goal in a 4-3 win) even if it wasn't the one that put them in the lead for good. In a 4-3, the gwg would be the fourth regardless of the order of scoring. It's how sometimes an eng can be a gwg. Some box scores report the goal that put a team up for goodby Chris '03 - Hockey

abmarks Chris '03 Trotsky Seger pantsed Cooper Black. Hire that guy to man the main game camera for the stream. Don't know much about them but they are apparently shooting their college hockey game day series at lynah tonight.by Chris '03 - Hockey

Dunc Big Dingus Do you even watch? There were barely any empty seats last weekend. You old timers really love beating the dead horse No they are right - i was in section B and section a was very empty on the Friday UMD game It's clear as day on the broadcast that there were a relative ton of empty seats two weeks ago. They are not empty tonight. Can't see A but everything else looks 95% or moby Chris '03 - Hockey
Re: Cornell Hockey Jerseys? - 5 months ago
RichH ugarte Trotsky The replica jerseys aren't great unfortunately.no need to be so harsh this looks pretty sharp for a youth jersey Maybe better than the real thing these days, as this replica has the lower stripe historically correct. The roads the team has been wearing are now just Red Wing blanks with the white going all the way to the bottom hem. It's just wrong. Was thinking of you Fby Chris '03 - Hockey
Re: Cornell Hockey Jerseys? - 5 months ago
ugarte Trotsky They strip the names and numbers off which sucks.Back then it was just names that came off. I chose #2 for Ratushny but you can tell from the size of the ghost of the old nameplate in the removed stitching that it had been Travis Bell's Names and captaincy letters came off. Sometimes they took the ecac patch off too I think.by Chris '03 - Hockey

ugarte dag14 I bought a REAL Cornell hockey jersey at the annual used equipment sale held by the Athletics Department 5 or 6 years ago. Here is the article from spring, 2022: ITHACA, N.Y. -- After a COVID-19 hiatus, the annual Athletic Department Garage Sale will take place on Thursday and Friday, March 10-11 12 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Grumman Squash Court Building across from Teagle Hall.by Chris '03 - Hockey

Local Motion Ken711.........look we can agree to disagree, but the reality in order for our new AD Nicki Moore to be successful she has to get support from the current administration. Andy Noel had been trying to get the new indoor practice facility built since former president Elizabeth Garrett gave it her blessing back in 2016. Andy wanted on campus and Pollack wanted two miles off campus oby Chris '03 - Other Sports
Re: Cornell @ Brown, 11/04/23 - 5 months ago
Trotsky The men and women defeated Yale and Brown this weekend by a combined score of 21-4. I was surprised to see that 7 is the most goals scored on the road by the men since the Ryan Vesce Game at Princeton twenty years ago.by Chris '03 - Hockey

tycho Chris '03 Local Motion In terms of Schoellkopf, you have to put your mind-set into that of an 18-year old top Ivy League recruit, whether it's football or lacrosse. When those kids walk into Schoellkopf today and then visit Princeton, Harvard, or even Dartmouth we are probably going to lose. Re: Cornell v Yale, 11/3/23 - 6 months ago
Swampy I'm planning to attend the game at Yale and have some questions: Where are the best seats for visitors? The Yale website offers parking, apparently for an extra fee. Is this really necessary, or is free parking readily available nearby? Is there anythng else one should know about attending the game at Yale? I think the whale SRO on the blue line is about as good a seat as there is iby Chris '03 - Hockey
Re: Empty seats at Lynah - 6 months ago
CAS Cornell reported that attendance was 4,316 for both games last weekend, which must be a sell out or close to it. Obviously some ticket holders don’t make it to the games. Most season tickets cost less than $20/game. Although I support lower ticket prices, I think Cornell hockey tix are a very good value. I doubt Cornell tix are more expensive than at many other colleges. Season tix at leby Chris '03 - Hockey

Weder jtwcornell91 Has anybody without cable tried to watch Cornell football on ESPN+? I tried and it told me to go to espn.com/activate to log in with my cable provider. I think I was already logged in to my ESPN account on the Roku (I have the soon-to-be-expensive Disney+ bundle), since I was able to watch cricket highlights afterwards. Scersk '97 Chris '03 Scersk '97 ARE YOU READY FOR SOME PUNTING!!! This reminds me of the Tim Pendergast era. When the offense was on the field and facing third down, the sideline would yell "punt team!" Coaches included. Talk about having confidence in your offense.... Quick kick! No one ever sees it coming! Unironically, since punting is actually the second most important stby Chris '03 - Other Sports

Trotsky You're gonna make me hope. I had accepted that Huggy Bear was as irreparable a part of the Creeping Meatballism of the last 70 years of Cornell's aestethic and spiritual cratering as the death of the elms. It is too much to ask for the return of Domestic Abuser Bear. Condescending bear leaning on block C forever. Huggy Bear never.by Chris '03 - Hockey

Trotsky That is fucking awesome. After 40 years, Cornell appears to have gotten somebody to do their comms who is under the age of 87. Now please, murder #yellcornell in its sleep and bury it in a shallow grave in Mecklenburg. It feels so there's been a tone shift this year from athletics. First full year from Nicki Moore. Will be curious to see what else evolves.by Chris '03 - Hockey
