Re: Passing The Hat - 14 years ago
I remember the interviewer asking Scrivens about it on tv. Scrivens seemed to be taken aback by the question, but he answered it forthrightly.by dietlbomb - Hockey

Jim Hyla jtwcornell91Also, seeding tournament brackets in November is idiotic. But so is Browser-busting proto-KRACH thread. But I love those mouthwatering bubbles.by dietlbomb - Hockey

Re: UND vs Cornell in Jan. - 14 years ago
Well, Dunbar's is the hockey team's bar. So, after the Saturday game, the players will be there. If Cornell wins, you can be a friend there; if the Sioux win, there could be a bit of friction. If you play it low key, though, I doubt there could be any trouble.by dietlbomb - Hockey

jtwcornell91imafrshmnIf you want to be within walking distance of Lynah rink without paying a crapload for the Statler Hotel, the best you can do is stay at the Hillside Inn. It's near Collegetown, so you can easily get back on foot if you decide to partake in the nightlife. Plus, FLA! Does anyone even know what FLA is?by dietlbomb - Hockey

I went to the Cornell-Penn game. After it was over I didn't really feel like talking about it.by dietlbomb - Other Sports
Re: Harvard Post-game - 15 years ago
This game looked like a huge mismatch. We were on and they were totally off. I could hear the drums from section D tonight during Gary Glitter. Usually they're too quiet. Were there more percussionists than normal?by dietlbomb - Hockey
Re: Signs and Cheers for USA Under-18 Dev. Team - 15 years ago
Josh '99Cornell isn't on the diagram because the game against the U18 team wasn't a real game. Maybe we can treat U18 as the theoretical team that ties everyone in the league.by dietlbomb - Hockey
Re: Signs and Cheers for USA Under-18 Dev. Team - 15 years ago
sah67 U-18 beat Onion and RPI with a score of 5-4 both times. That's not going to help us in the KRACH. How about, "It's nine o'clock and you're past curfew"? I got nothing.by dietlbomb - Hockey

AnneDVMMatt Moulson has been named to the final roster of the LA Kings and will start on the top line this weekend: Also on that top line is Dustin Brown; the Ithaca Connection?by dietlbomb - Hockey

JerseygirlSo...because Crimson is weak and incompetent, it must be feminine? I suppose the French could add a special case and make Crimson neuter.by dietlbomb - Hockey

Beeeej Even after he graduates he won't be an alumni. He'll be an alumnus. Maybe there are two of him. That would explain his durability, and his ability to simultaneously attend school and play pro hockey.by dietlbomb - Hockey
Re: How far Cornell hasn't fallen this year - 16 years ago
This team had a better in-conference record than last years' team, but last year we really backed into 4th place.by dietlbomb - Hockey
Re: thank you, Doug - 16 years ago
hockeychick470This is my 3rd season sitting on the D/E boarder. The cowbell is one of my favorite cheers, especially when I go stand in B or A with friends because it gets extremely garbled with clapping on the D/E end. This is the first time that I've seen anyone come to the D/E end to play the cowbell. Thanks, you made my night. LGR I agree with this. There were a number of fans in sby dietlbomb - Hockey

Re: RIT tix - 16 years ago
It's a nice 90-minute drive up the lakes in the fall (and is a shorter trip than it is to go to Colgate). Rt. 96 -> Thruway -> I490 is pretty quick. I'd take route 89 -> Thruway -> I490 instead. There's less traffic and no small towns to slow you down.by dietlbomb - Hockey
