Not sure if this is belongs in another forum (or at least should be labelled as OT), but I just noticed an article about a baseball beanpot tournament.  Does this kind of thing happen in other sports too?

I've been to a Baseball Beanpot at Fenway.  Me and 600 other dopes freezing in the stands.  Play on the level of a mediocre southern high school league.  They didn't even operate the scoreboard.
