He didn't count anything.  He said if they play this well again -- which was, for the most part, dominant hockey (I think Clarkson may have reached triple digits for icing in OT) -- then they should be in good shape.

Hence the IF.  They blew Clarkson away in game 1 of the '04 series, then folded and got prematurely buried.  The Knights are a very solid team and could easily come back.

Not sure, but I believe that was the longest game in Lynah history.

As best as I can remember...it looked like Clarkson won the faceoff but the puck went towards the net where Cornell was crashing hard.  Sawada was able to muscle between the defenders and pounded home the puck.  It happened very quickly, during which I was brooding about the Barlow miss.

Yep. Still alive... Great game . Emotional life's been tough of late, lab work grinds along at its own pace, and I've got a qualifying exam in less than two weeks, but the Red won! Almost snowed here a couple of times today.

Looked like a shot off the faceoff, then a Sawada slam on the rebound.
