"That damn bell at Clarkson." -Ken Dryden in reference to his hatred for the Clarkson Bell.

I have just become a lot less worried about that game.

There are actually two freshmen suspended.  But the freshman that scored against us (Brendan Milnamow) is still there, so I'm still not as confident as Ari.

Can we kick them out of the ECACHL and replace them with RIT yet?

No, because I don't want our last game against them to be the one from 11/18/05. :-(
Is next year here yet?

If anyone wants details on this situation, PM me.

Ari, I really have to take issue with your continuing to do this.  Either something is appropriate for the general populace to know, in which case you can post it here, or it's not, in which case you shouldn't even be PMing it to anybody.  It seems to me when you make this kind of post that you are doing little more than thumping your chest about the insider status you believe you have, and IMHO that's obnoxious and unnecessary.

I am pretty sure that with Union in danger of finishing above the magic .400 mark, drastic steps were necessary. Thus, players were asked to leave the team so that Union's image would not be hurt. ;-)

Nothing unreasonable about sharing private information with individuals that you know and trust.  But don't announce to the world that you have stuff like this and indicate that you're willing to give it out freely albeit via a less public means.

calgARI '07

ok, sorry.  i didnt think it was information that should be discussed on public space but if people wanted to know, they could ask me.  there is a difference between discussing something on an open forum that is available to anyone and passing information along that is not available for everyone to see.  no clue why you are so offended by it.

I don't think this has anything to do with this particular nugget of insider information. I think it has something to do with the fact that you routinely come across as an arrogant "insider." It's like you think we should all get down on our knees and thank you that you deign to share information with the common folk. I'm glad you know exaclty what's wrong with O'Byrne, or why the Union players were suspended, or what McKee's blood type is but just posting, "yeah I know what the problem is. PM me and I'll tell you" is a chest thumping cry for attention. It's childish. You obviously understand that it's stuff that shouldn't be thrown around publically but can't help yourself in assuring the world you know by promising to tell anyone who asks. Doesn't that just about defeat the purpose of not posting the information here? Especially when someone you tell could turn around and post it here.

I have no clue why you are so confused that people might get tired of your attitude.

Beeeej

Well, I wouldn't have put it quite so angrily, but apparently I wasn't clear enough to begin with, so there you go.  :-)
