McKee: shut out #17.

Trotsky

Good early effort by Barlow; Russell nearly leaves the rebound in front for Kennedy.

Trotsky

Carefoot nearly feeds Moulson; deflected aside.  Matt still has 0 even strength non-empty net goals.

Now he feeds Mitch and Carefoot scores.  1-0, Big Red.

Glover gets another one after relentless pressure in the QU end.  2-0 just 6:13 in.

Trotsky

QU takes a timeout to catch their breath.  Russell still in net.

Trotsky

Shots already 6-4 after 8 minutes.  Not much D so far.

1 06:13 Cor Glover 2 (O'Byrne 4)

Trotsky

Moulson fianlly gets that elusive no frills even strength goal:

1 16:14 Cor Moulson 12 (Bitz 11)

Looks like I'm the only grumpy old man who doesn't like IRC.  Speed crazy kids...

O'Byrne was the intermission guest, and he was very exhuberant. I don't think he was whistled during the entire interview.

Trotsky

QU subs in third string sieve Josh Siembida for Wes Russell as we go to the second period.

Krantz and Scott get late assists on the first 2 goals.

PinkyGen

The Q announcers are being pretty complimentary. "It's no mistake they are the 7th ranked team." Nice to see them not being negative.

You're not the only one...I've been at work and can't really getting away with chatting or listening/watching online. I appreciate these updates!  However, I'm now on my way out so I won't need more updates until ~2100 PST.

Trotsky

Shots are way down in the second; looks like the Iron Curtain has once again descended across the Cornell blue line.

The Red kill a penalty with no effort.  Still 3-zip.

Trotsky

Barlow and Kennedy another nice try, turned away.  Sounds like these guys are close to clicking.
