I've been living under a rock, so I hadn't yet seen it: http://wiki.collegehockeynews.com/index.php?title=Main_Page

It has *great* potential!

...until the yahoos over at the USCHO board find out about it and start sabotaging other teams' pages.  ::rolleyes::

Tom Reale (a. k. a. RPIRED, a. k. a. Red Cloud) started it last winter. Here's the thread on USCHO: http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?t=46616.

We invited Tom to bring the wiki under our umbrella as a joint effort.  I encourage everyone to add to the project.  The wiki is moderated, and the beauty of it is, yes, it can be sabotaged, but assuming there are more good people than sabotagers, it can get changed back.  Plus there's a revert function, and an administrator who can lock people out.

The wikipedia is the greatest encylopedia in the world, at this point, and it's done entirely openly.
