The polls mean nothing.

Nevertheless, it's nice to get a little recognition from the pundits.
Is next year here yet?

KeithK

So we'r3e going to start listing the top 20 now?  Ridiculous.

Good point.

Let's play hockey.

Any guesses on how long it will take fans of the teams immediately below us to proclaim that they should be above us once they have a few easy wins under their belts?  Too lazy to check the schedules, but I assume that OSU, BC, NoDak, et. al. will play at least a couple cupcakes before our first game...
Let's Go RED!

KeithK

OSU: at CC (2), at BG, BG
BC: at Mich, at BG, at NU
UND: vs. Miami, vs. MSU, NU (2), at NH (2)
CC: Union, Maine, OSU (2), NotreDame, Air Force
Mich: Q (2), BC, Merrimack, MSU

BCrespi

Wow, those should be some great early season games.  Who's getting pumped?

My pick to win it all is Ohio State.  They only lost one or two guys from last year's team.

KeithK

Yeah, but do they still have the awful country music singer?

redhair34

awful??? His girlfriend said he has a great voice

Trotsky

Nice opening ranking; our best in the Schafer Era.

USCHO Ranking:

Season, Start, End, Improvement
01-02, 16th, 9th, +7
02-03, 8th, 1st, +7
03-04, 9th, 20th, -11
04-05, 13th, 4th, +9
05-06, 4th

Jeff Hopkins '82

Well it shows that they at least respect us.  Whether it means anything about the success for the season is doubtful.

Ack

Don't forget the apple pie...

Bryan '06

Wow, everyone should really be watching that CC/Union game.  I had no idea they faced each other until I saw this post...thanks KeithK.  Anyone else have a feeling the outcome of this game will have a huge impact on our PWR this spring?

Go UNION!:-P
