Any other Cornell fans in this hockey void?  Ideas for which bar might be willing to show college hockey during NCAA basketball games?

Rita

sorry aaron... I moved from the northwest void to the midwest/hoosier one. While i was in eugene in 2003, Quackers on rte 99 (just on the west side of town) was very kind and let me watch hockey, but then in 2003 we were in the east and the games started at noon est, and didn't conflict with b-ball.
Eugene is a slightly shorter commute than to seattle/Jillians.
good luck!

I'm thinking about trying the Upper Deck, but I don't know if they will show the game.  I do know that Damon's at Jantzen Beach and a dumpy place on Mill Plain near I-205 in Vancouver don't get the ALT channel.  My plan is to try Ron's Sport's page in Vancouver and if that doesn't work to drive down town.   Let me know if you find something I'd be happy to join you.

Well Ron's Sport's Page is a bust as well as the Silver Dollar.  Ron's I checked in person and Silver Dollar I called by phone.  If we still want to watch tomorrow hopefully someone will have ESPNU.   Sounds like Seattle didn't do so well either.  The OSU audio feed will have to do for today.

Is the Cornell Club of Oregon still active?  When I was out there we had at least one watch party for hockey, and for an RS game at that.  For the record, it was at a sports bar in a chain hotel off 26 in Beaverton.  That's all I can remember.

I'm thinking of trying the On Deck sports bar  -- http://www.ondecksportsbar.com -- in the Pearl District (NW 14th/Kearney). I called and the person didn't know what ESPNU was, but was told they got "pretty much every sports channel."

EDIT: Called back Sunday morning and was told they did get ESPNU, so I'm gonna head down there unless someone comes up with a better place.
