So I went to an AHL last game in Syracuse - the Crunch were hosting the Hershey Bears with rookie winger Steve Moore, fresh from harvard :)  He only had 15 or so points through 42 games I think.  I wonder if there are more Moore's in Hershey's future...

don't have a truck or anything. hope to be in the ithaca area around five. can help hang any time thereafter. biggest problem is getting a ladder. if age has one he's willing to lend out can anyone else get it?? am getting the feeling that a few people will be needed to help. would be nice to be able to actually put the sign up since coach (and maybe team) already know about it and sice it's be one more way to put the crimson in their place.

melissa

he has actualyly played a few game for the avs so far this season too. Tho he's from Harvard it is still nice to see a recent ECAC grad getting some chances in the NHL. Judy might know more about him since she's a Hershey fan as well (but Cornell comes first, right!?!)

I've got a Jeep Cherokee and there should be ample room for the ladder. I could wiat until 5:00, but like you said the earlier the better. Anything to help get the guys up for te game. I know if I saw signs up long before the majority of fans showed up I would be SUPER pumped to kick some tail!!! I'll get in touch with Age and ask about the ladder. Keep me posted on if you'd like me to wait or if I should get it us ASAP.  LGR!!!

Well, I know that the band room in Barton Hall has a ladder about that height that the drum major stands on to conduct during football season.  I may be presumptuous in thinking that it would be OK to borrow it...I'm just an alumnus and don't have access to that room.  But I do know Chris, the pep band head manager, and I can ask him if we can use it.  He usually has the band room open for report time sometime around 5:30, and it may be possible to borrow it a little beforehand, too.

Smoore-on is in Hershey and it doesn't look like he's going back to the Avs anytime soon since the other recalls to the Avs have actually produced something...goals, assists...and he didn't while he'd been there. He's not very productive, but then, neither is the team. (The just got off a 16 game winless streak) Hershey's got another game in Syracuse Friday night though I doubt anyone's interested.

Yes, Cornell comes first, Melissa.

Also, since I will be leaving Baltimore between 12 and 1, and with the storm, I have no clue when I'll get there. But if I get there in time, I'll help with the sign as well. Melissa will know when I leave and the expected time of arrival.

I'd also like to say that there's nothing like Lynah. After catching a few games at HersheyPark Arena (next door to really yummy chocolate milk shakes at Chocolate World), I start the miss the atmosphere at Lynah. Where else can you get a constant stream of noise, taunting and lots of cheers?

Rich, if you could talk to Chris and see if it's taller than 8' we would be in business. If that doesn't work out then I'll just borrow a ladder from Age.

Response from Chris: we're pretty sure the ladder is 8-feet, and the band room will be open from 4:30.  I can bring the ladder up to Lynah at 4:45, and meet the sign-hangers.

LGR, Hahvahd SUCKS!

Ben just picked up my ladder. Should be good in the vertical assistance department.

...they just don't travel well.

When Harvard was a perennial national championship contender in the late 80's, and the ECAC's were held in the Gahden just 6 T-stops and 200 feet from Harvard Square, the Crimson would pack the place with 60... even 70 fans.

rhovorka

OK...then I won't worry about haulin' the band ladder slightly uphill.

Rich, can you still come up around 4:45 to help me put it up? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Might be there to help arround that time. Decied to take 1/2 day off work on account of the messy drive. Am leaving at noon. God willing I'll be there by 4:45. Have emade some totally lame poster board signs. Nothing really creeative (it was late at night and i was tired) but it's the thought that counts right??? Posting anything telling Hravard tha they stink is better than nothing. I'll try and be there. Hope that Rich can come just in case I don't make it!
