The feed has been working, but spottily.  They just finished the national anthem.

I'm getting a black screen and I have no audio. Is it in commercial or something?

Normally i use the cornell webcasts where you sign in, it loads up and goes.
This isn't buffering saying there's an error preventing it form loading.
Any ideas anyone??? ::help::

go to the main page and follow the link for current webcasts and choose ecac, not cornell.

Some of us have been unable to get the feed, with this error:

[Q]Windows Media Player cannot play the file. A network firewall might be preventing the Player from opening the file by using the UDP transport protocol. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:").[/Q]

I get this, even though the same setup worked last week and also for the pregame tests with Wodon and Norton.

puff

ok, thats what i'm getting. Frustrating

XMI suggested rebooting the machine, and it worked.

puff

Thanks, I just rebooted and it worked too, I thought about it initially, but seeing i had just turned it on 2 minutes before i tried accessing the game didn't think it'd do anything

Here's the explanation from XMI:

[Q]We restarted the encoder ten minutes before gametime, shortly after Adam and
Bob were on screen. Sometimes, a media player will have problems picking the
feed back up when the encoder restarts.

Restarting your computer, while time consuming, is the best way to get the
video again. Try that.[/Q]
