Anyone know when Cornell last had a natural hat trick?

puff

Not much comment on the radio (middle of a commercial) but a stellar save by Mckee.

Here are the recent hat tricks: http://www.tbrw.info/games/cornellHatTricks.html

Nieuwy's on 2/28/87 was natural.  I'd bet it has happened since; I just don't have all the boxes.  Yet. ;-)

French Rage

So either McKee had the puck there or the net got pushed off before it went in.  Radio guys thought it was the latter at first but now the former.

I get the feeling that with Union giving is so many odd man rushes we have gotten caught up in a very loose game and giving union too many chances..

This, however, is easily the greatest natural hat trick in Cornell history: http://www.tbrw.info/boxScores/box19700321.html

Greg,

Is that box score complete? For some reason, I thought I'd seen a box for that game that showed Lodboa's 3 goals as even-strength, PP, and SHG. Of course, after I thought that, I wasn't able to find that box again.

The early boxes I got from the Ithaca Journal, and sometimes they do not indicate the strength of the goal.  So, I'm not sure.

checking in. i like the score :)
has the game been pretty even? looking at the shots 13-10, seems like more than cornell usually gives up -> onion getting good chances or just low quality shots?

From the audio, it sounds like Cornell had a large advantage in the play, with Union having a couple of flurries.

Harvard up big on SLU now, 3-0.

Cornell pp with Moulson pulled down.
