Is Jayson Moy still doing color on the RPI 'casts?  Good guy -- used to be a hockey-l mainstay, back when we were young(er).[/q]

Neither Jayson Moy nor Kurt Stutt are doing the broadcasts any more.  :-/  Instead we have Norm MacDonald on PbP and Special Ed on color.

Cornell goes on the 4 x 3 pp

Greg Berge

CU goes on pp, but our play was blown dead (incorrectly?) immediately prior to Moulson scoring.

Jeff Hopkins '82

According to the RPI broadcast, the skater for McKee got on the ice too soon.  If that was the case, I can't see how it's not too many men, but whatever.

DeltaOne81

I think that play was something like a 2 on 1 for Cornell, with a delayed PP against RPI, but the extra man jumped on the ice before McKee got to the bench, leading to a too many men against us? Apparently they're being strict about that this year???

Or I'm totally off.

Edit: Right Jeff, wouldn't that have been a too many men? It wasn't apparently, but they blew it dead anyway. I'm very confused. Or perhaps the RPI broadcasters are just full of B.S. and if was just offsides.

Greg Berge

It must have just been an offsides, it's the only thing that makes sense.

Even strength again.  Despite all the early pp's, no ppg yet (RPI 0x2, Cornell 0x1).

Jets miss a FG with 2:00 to go; still 17-17.

Jeff Hopkins '82

Roethlisberger with a bad pass.  Jets get another chance - they've got the ball on the Steelers 33.

Greg Berge

Jet interception gives them the ball inside the Pgh 35.

Then pick off the Steelers on the next play and have the ball on the Steelers 33 w/ 1:46 to go

Let's GO Red!!!

Jeff Hopkins '82

Meanwhile back at RPI, 2 1/2 minutes left in the first.

Greg Berge

Have the Jets won a playoff game since Joe Willy? :-D

Greg Berge

Neutral zone action at Houston -- neither team with any good chances.
