I know this has been brought up in the past, but from the old Britney Spears ads to the awful Snapple ads with that dumbass “Jim” and now these new retarded Mt. Dew ads its gotten to the point that I have given up listening to the radio and just watching along on eLynah to get updates to away hockey games and I keep my hand on the mute button during football games. I had hoped a new season would bring a change, alas it has not.
Am I the only one that likens these ads to fingernails across a blackboard?
Anyone think there is something that can be done? Is this an issue with C.U. or WHCU?
You don’t want to tick off your advertisers, but boy I wish someone would tell them they had to have better ads.
Had to get that off my chest before my head asplode. ::bang::

I can't stand them, especially the Snapple "songs" ::twak::    I guess it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't play them over and over and over and over again.  I doubt much can be done, unless Cornell wants to pay WHCU to air the games w/o commercials, and I don't see that happening.

You could write to the companies that make the ads - especially Snapple. If a few people do this, and you tell them that you hate them and is makes you less likely to buy Snapple, they may consider using new ones. The point is to make you buy it, tell them its working the opposite way around, and you might effect change.

And yes, they suck.

Yeah, their ads suck. But what bugs me a whole lot more is that they don't seem to be able to deliver the basic product they claim to be delivering. "Technical difficulties" is just a code for "we have no idea how to hook up our remote broadcast on any consistent basis". In this day and age, that's basically inexcusable.
