If Brown does a disappearing act from the TUC list tomorrow night, we may be in trouble.  TUC is a joke.:-(

true but if bc disappears that will help cornell too (well, harm others around cornell).

hasn't BC just been eliminated with a .500 record and therefor locked in as a TUC?

Josh '99

Yes.  18-18-2 and eliminated from the HE Tourney.

And unlike Union, I don't think they played Findlay.  (Who, by the way, lost to the US U-18 team 11-2 tonight.)

With all Friday results now in, Cornell still sits seventh.

> ...Findlay. (Who, by the way, lost to the US U-18 team 11-2 tonight.)

In that game, in the 2nd period, the Under-18's had more goals (8) than Findlay had shots (6).  ::rolleyes::

More TUC madness:

Union is NOT a TUC because two WINS over Findlay don't count.  Canisius IS a TUC because two LOSSES to Findlay don't count.  So Western Michigan gains two wins (over Canisius) in TUC and Cornell loses two (over Union).

It may be a moot point, because a Canisius loss to Sacred Heart tonight would knock them out of TUC anyway.  On the other hand, a Canisius win tonight would make them a TUC forever.  Of such things are NCAA bids won or lost.

Yeah  - Go Brown, and Go Gate!  Those results are definitely as important to us as our own, for at-large bid purposes....

To make all you guys feel better (maybe) about this Findlay stuff, they'll count next year. Doesn't help us now, but it's only a very temporary situation.
