There was some talk around this time last year that the Ivies were considering going to an (obvious) 8 team tournament to award the NCAA auto-bid.  I know this won't be the case this year, but did the idea make any headway among the Usual Change Averse Suspects?

The vibe I get is that the Ivies dig their iconoclast status. And all the extra attention from the three-way tie doesn't hurt.

I would really like to see 2 bids (if Penn is upset, they have an outside shot), but if Penn loses their RPI will probably take to big a hit for the bid. Maybe two teams in the NIT though!
