Although Cornell didn't score in the second period, almost the entire period was played in the offensive zone, except for the Union power plays.  Cornell only had one great scoring opportunity: a 2-on-0 shorthanded breakaway with Ryan Vesce and Jeremy Downs.  Ryan blew a tire and couldn't get a shot off.

Lynah's a tomb tonight.

That was a much better period, with the Red getting more pressure.  The UC pp's wasted the middle 10 minutes of the period.

Varterressian clobbered a couple of UC guys (the second leading to a penalty), as did Hornby and O'Bryne.

I expect UC to come out in turtle formation and Cornell to spend the third pounding away at Mayotte.  So far Mayotte has had the right combo of luck and skill to stone them.

A potential go-ahead goal with two minutes left was disallowed due to a crease violation.  Cornell controlled play in the 3rd period.

late in 3rd we had a goal waved off for crease violation and the abbotts/hornby line had a chance with ~ 10 sec left.

How much time to beginning of OT?

Despite a late flurry by the vesce line, the game ends in a 1-1 tie. glad that we got at least a point, but still feel a bit "unfulfilled".

There is no time to the beginning of OT the game is over. The audio only broadcast seems to be delayed by about 5 minutes.
