Yes... if you saw any of my pictures, or any of the current Sun beat reporters, or any of the posting from the Cornell hockey socials, definite success.

Thank you for the commentary.  It's certainly encouraging that so many students showed up.  There must be some vibrations carrying over from the good old days on the hill.  I wonder whether any of the undergrads were children (or even grandchildren) of alumni who had camped in the line and passed on stories.

This seems to have been a great promotion and better than free pizza  to create a buzz.  Thanks to whoever made this happen.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

My son is a first year and got the same booty as stearax did.  He went with section B, I think row 8 or 9.  our seasons are right across from him in section N!  I'm happy for the students that they did this, it is one of those experiences (waiting out for tickets on line overnight or in the am) that we all had that kids today dont get and I'm sure you they will all remember.

Lunch at the Milkstand is pretty sweet too!

I'm gonna go WAY out on a limb here and say that the two are not mutually exclusive..
"What... is your favorite color?"  "Blue. No, yel--auuuuugh!"

I can probably wave at him from my seat 😂

I might need to go to Milkstand more. Excellent brunch.

Well, no... but I feel like hockey players love subjecting us to seeing their feet at all times 😂 I'm sure it's something to do with skates being tight and letting the feet breathe and all.

A:
51 up top (BAND)
72 down below

B:
247 taken

C:
Top row I assume is not available, it's always got signs that say don't sit there
40 left side
21 right side

ABC total:
380 seats taken

D:
38 seats taken

E:
174 seats taken (?!?)
(I assume some of this MUST be reserved seating?)

DE total:
212 seats taken

ABCDE total:
592 seats already sold - not including band.

Also notable, grad students could purchase today as well, so possible my numbers are slightly higher than is accurate.

Top row of C is right in front of the radio booths.  I'm sure it is a blessing not to have fans there.

Section A is underrated, especially if you're into heckling, starting chants, throwing newspapers and hitting someone, singing along to the band, being less distracted by the video board, and celebrating goals with the boyz.

My seats went from A to on the glass in G to D. No bad seats when the place is full tbh.
