I'm just excited that we're likely to have our first 100-point career scorer in, well... seems like forever.

Even with Castagna's departure, we're building quite a stable of offensive talent. We have four other guys who, if they stay for four, might reach the 100-point mark, and one of them's a defenseman! If that happened, he would very much be the first in "forever." (Chris Norton's senior season was my family's first full season at the rink.)

Might we dream of a 20-goal season?

Even with Castagna's departure, we're building quite a stable of offensive talent. We have four other guys who, if they stay for four, might reach the 100-point mark, and one of them's a defenseman! If that happened, he would very much be the first in "forever." (Chris Norton's senior season was my family's first full season at the rink.)

Speaking of stats that haven't been broken in a while, just pulled up Walshy's page to check how far away from 100 he is and they've added bios for this season. Did you know that Walsh posted career-high five assists against RPI (Nov. 22), becoming first Cornell player with five assists in a game since Casey Jones '90 on Jan. 6, 1989, against Brown?

Walsh is at 86 btw. Unless he gets hurt or similar, he'll almost certainly eclipse 100 in his Cornell career.

I wish there was somewhere I could find a sorted list of most points in a Cornell career... I see Moulson had 130-something in 4 years, and had the last 20-goal season on file...
