Hoping for a UConn vs. Dartmouth regional final on Saturday, but will probably be too busy at Isaac's birthday party anyway. All other factors aside, I can't say I'm disappointed to be in a Friday/Sunday regional this year.

Also, ain't it nice to get to the time of year where other game results don't affect our NPI, they only determine our potential future opponents?

It's awesome to close the NPI page and open the bracket one 🥰

I was wondering why they said the glass was fixed when I tuned in a second ago 😅

Did they say this would be the first NCAA win for Dartmouth in SEVENTY SEVEN YEARS? First... national title, right?

No, they last won a semifinal (back when the field was four teams) back in 1949, and have never won the national title nor won an NCAA tournament game since.

Holy shit. I could've sworn they were decent in the 60s or 70s, maybe just in ECAC play.

I agree with that call - he had a clear shot to the goal and got hooked. We were robbed of similar consideration - what should've been an automatic goal awarded, not just a Penalty shot, since the net was empty at the time - late in our season, and I still don't understand why. Obviously it didn't affect the outcome, but still.

My stream is mostly down, I'm just going off the box score sadly.

That feels like it's happened SEVERAL times in the past few weeks in college hockey and they refuse to call the PS/AG.

Actually they won the consolation match against us in 1980.

A fair cop. But I also think that the broadcaster's statement can be fairly understood to mean a victory in an NCAA tournament elimination game.

Fair 'nuff.  I didn't hear the actual announcer.
