I'm getting old. I'm trying to be polite. I can see that a fan with interest in our hockey team but not deep studies in the how and why of advancing through the playoffs, and which are single-elimination games. The ECACs, you win each round or you're done, but then the NCAAs come and you can get in by winning your conference but also by having a high-enough power ranking, yada yada.
Be nice to refer to an explainer on how the hockey playoffs work. In eLyah.

I'm very nice in person. Just befuddled that after I explained like 4 times yesterday that we needed to win the next two to make Placid, and these guys asking me how the Q game was going, that they still wouldn't know that?

Only on the Commons, which is where several Cornell students go out now along with the IC ones
Yeah - CTB in C-Town is open late, as are DP Dough (never been), Insomnia as well.

On the Commons, it's... Luna and subsidiaries... Yellow Deli... limited offerings at Ale House... and I think the Komonz Grill?

There is not a single pizza place, or at least one that is open late, in Collegetown now?

I think Soulvaki House is the only place left that has pizza? And they are not open late.

I don't frequent Collegetown much these days, but at a minimum CTB is open late and makes pizza bagels. (So not really pizza, but in a pinch...)

Isn't DP open late for basically just pizza?

I mean 7/11 has pizza and DP dough is pretty much pizza. But on a drunk cold night I would rather have halal truck 100x over before pizza

Not very lovey at all

Not sure how that didn't get looked at.

Tried to post this between the first and second, but...

Pretty sure they didn't have it looked at because all they could review for is a major penalty, and it probably wasn't up to that level. And/or they had no video of it.
Yeah, it looked bad, but I think it would've been a two minute minor for roughing at most, and you can't call that on a review.

If they reviewed it they would have seen the Stanley dive as well.  I guess if either ref saw it they considered it a wash

Seemed like the goal celly 5 ft from the Harvard bench was a bit... courageous.  ;D
I said the same thing last night 😂
But I loved it all the same
Maybe it's me but I think Krafty's stock value rose over the past two months

Kraft has been playing like his ass is on fire, to start. Apparently he always has and I just haven't been paying enough attention...

But also, I don't know if anything has meaningfully changed with him besides the pucks going in. The dude was snakebit in the fall, iirc.

Kraft has been a great player since day 1.

Interesting tidbit: the game box score on CHN show Donovan Ott as one of the assistant referees (what we used to call linesmen back in the day). I assume that's the same Donovan Ott who about 8 years ago was a Cornell commit who ended up switching to RPI and then finished his career at D3 Utica. My recollection is he didn't blossom in juniors and was likely told by the Cornell staff that they no longer had room for him.
