Adam, you know I love you, but not sorting by seed is no bueno.

I'd cut Adam some slack, since as of Sunday morning the ECAC site doesn't have it right either.
Low bar.  :-)

My favorite is the entire summer the Ivies still had their standings by Old Points when they had shifted to Derp Points, thus listing Harvard as champ when we had won (despite being swept by them, hee hee).

Adam knows I love him and treasure CHN.  We are always most critical of those we admire.

Except Harvard and politicians.

If there are no upsets in the first round, our opponent is Harvard. One upset, it's Colgate. Two upsets, Clarkson. Three upsets, RPI. Four upsets, Yale.

Wouldn't hate another Harvard series, but I wouldn't be shocked to see brown beat Union. It killed me to miss the harvard series two years ago.

No way Brown beats Union.

No way they beat them in their new Rambling Gambling too tight shit line of site arena.

Union had little trouble with Brown this past weekend. I don't see them dropping the game in Schenectady

Quote from: VIEWfromK on March 01, 2026, 01:10:39 PMThe ECAC clearly values regulation wins more now that they award three points.  Why shouldn't that be reflected in the standings?

It is, which is why Dartmouth and Cornell are tied in points in the first place.

I don't know - I never have been sure that you do...

I spend thousands of hours a year on the site - but trying to code all the league's tiebreakers into the sort would take years off my life. Maybe Claude can do it now.  We do have a page with all the brackets and seeds though.

I managed to code the old tie-breakers (in perl!) but I have not had the time or inclination to do anything with it since they changed the point system for 3x3 and shootouts.

9 RPI @ 8 Clarkson

Oh how I wish the first round were still best-of-three.  That would be an epic series.

Looked exactly like Bright on streaming.  Where did they go wrong?

The incline was designed for a great view over the seat in front of you.  The height difference seemed to be between 30 and 36 inches - though it might be a bit less.  We were uncomfortable enough to eyeball the height.  Great for sight lines except when trying to see the far side same side faceoff circle. In addition the seats are too damn narrow.  My wife and are not wide but the friends we were with are.  I was cramped and skewed to the side as a result. My old man's spine suffered a bit.

Another companion stood for at least the third period. So at least the place was designed for adequate SRO.

I'm wondering if Jim Hyla and Tim V agree.

I am surprised about seats.  I thought all the new places were built for High Fructose Corn Syrup Americans like me.

Yep, it's the MAHA rink.
