Cornell has lost 4 straight games to Columbia. My keys to the game:  Cornell run defense was exposed last game against Dartmouth, allowing DJ Crowther to rush for 197 yards.  Columbia is led by an excellent freshman rb in Michael Walters who broke Columbia's freshman rushing record last week with 123 yards.  Can they shut Walters down will be a defensive key.  Offensively, Cornell only netted 41 rushing yards against Dartmouth.  Cornell freshman rb John McAuliffe, didn't play very much in the Penn game, and not all in the Dartmouth game, so I assume was injured.  Can Jordan Triplet carry the Cornell rushing load himself is a big key.

Dumb play call on the one yard line. Inception by Columbia.

Going to lose this game with turnovers like that.

ayfkm. we march down the field to 3d and goal from the 1. Columbia in the worst, widest gaps I've ever seen for goal line defense, we call play action and GBS tries to float a touch pass in the end zone, is short, gets easily picked off. they aren't even pinned to the goal line.

Columbia is desperate for their 1st Ivy win.  Cornell run defense is awful, pass defense is even worse. DC Jared Backus was a holdover from the Archer staff, wouldn't mind seeing a change for next season.

14 - 3 Columbia on another long pass play that got Columbia in scoring position.  Cornell lost whatever momentum they had on the drive in the 1st quarter leading to the interception.   Looks like the Columbia winning streak against Cornell goes to 5 games now.

Cornell's offense will be better next season, but it won't make much of a difference if the defense isn't vastly improved.
