Fun facts:  Boxing was once a varsity sport at Cornell.  In the '40s, when it ceased to be an interscholastic sport, it became an intramural sport at the urging of the late Goldwin Smith Professor of History Fred Marcham.  Hockey All American, Doug Ferguson '67, was also an intramural boxing champion.
