Let's see how tomorrow (trap game) goes, but thus far I'm impressed. The defensive gapping and structure doesn't appear to have changed from Schafer's. Counoyer looks great. The freshmen look good on the whole. The PP is better.

The major gripes are that offensively there's little to write home about and we don't take care of the puck.

Overall, based on a minuscule sample, I'm optimistic about the Casey era. I also find it funny that Clarkson is now struggling.

My biggest complaint this year is the fan support. The schedule didn't break our way (4 games over pure intercession and 2 more the weekend before classes start), plus the ice debacle maybe scaring some people away, but come on, the attendance and energy is seriously lacking. Is anybody trying to fix this? Lower ticket prices or something!
