Lots of good chances, speed coming into the zone. Love to see it.

Huge win! God, 3x3 OT is such a lousy format, even moreso for the women than the men. But what a gritty, important, confidence boosting win!

3x3 suuuuuuuuucks.

If nothing else, you should lose possession if you leave the offensive zone intentionally.

I am watching from Denver so I have no inside information, but I wonder if it might be illness affecting the team.  I know that was often an issue when I did interact with the men's and women's teams on a regular basis.  Colds, flu, a stomach bug will make the rounds since the players spend so much time together and even a minor illness can really impact play if even a handful of players are not 100%.

You are?

Sorry, don't look at my phone much during the game, but I finally made it up for a game this season. Gritty win; good to see. Agree with dag14 that the team seemed to looked a step slow and also wondered if there might be some illness, but this is the first time I'm seeing them in person so it's hard for me to tell. Colgate is also a step above the previous opposition this season. Need to take care of business the rest of the semester and they should be in good shape going into the break.

In the second period, I turned to the friend I was with and said "They look gassed."  Fortunately, they found their legs in the third to tie it up.

But my god, the officiating was pathetic.

Dude. I dragged an exchange student friend to this weekend's games. After the Colgate game, she looked at me and said, and I quote, "I didn't understand why you said when we lose it's the ref's fault. Now I do. I understand that I'm blind, I'm deaf chant."

Second hockey game EVER, mind you.

She is a Cornellian, so maybe not so surprising?
