Decided to split the women's thread this year per semester :)

First update is - they're rolling out reserved seating for the women's games! Got an email earlier today about it. You can buy "reserved seating in premium sections" for season tickets or general admission. I assume this was only sent to 24-25 STM.

Personally, I'm going to wait until the men's tickets go on sale and see if they're going to discount the women's season tickets with purchase of a men's.

Good idea!
I may do the same!

Last year I was only going to get the men's because I was like, 1L year, a lot of studying and all that... then it was only $20 for the women's season with purchase of a men's... and I caved. LOL. Looks like the "premium" seating is only in the balcony and the back of the far side (K-O).

When the headline starts with "McDavid" that kind of draws attention.
Yes, she is related (cousin). Talk about having pressure on you.

Regardless, it seems like a great incoming class.

Lily Pachl looks like a very nice addition in particular. Several committed players for Fall 26 and beyond are on the U.S. and Canadian U18 and national development team camps this month as well.

Not from the Sun, but Cornell Athletics

We had good luck with a Messier, so why not a McDavid

Report from the US-Canada collegiate series in Lake Placid notes that Annelies Bergmann stopped 14 consecutive penalty shots in a shootout win. In all, seven Big Red players were on the two rosters. Also, a few commits played in the U18 series.

The full schedule is finally posted on the Athletics site: https://cornellbigred.com/sports/womens-ice-hockey/schedule

Also of note, the new tickets prices (for adults) range from $8-$14 for individual games. The only seats that cost more than $6 are the seats above the scoreboard and the box seats.

According to an article in the Sun, the ECAC women's semifinals and finals will now be held in Lake Placid.

*If* it's the same weekend as the Men's tournament, I think this is a very savvy move. That would be fun weekend, honestly and has the potential to be really great for the Lake Placid & Saranac Lake community, as well as fans of this level of hockey.

Edit: it probably won't be, considering the timing of the women's NCAA tournament in past years.

Cornell picked No. 1 in the coaches' poll, and Grace Dwyer and Annelies Bergmann are on the preseason all-ECAC team: https://ecachockey.com/news/2025/9/11/womens-ice-hockey-cornell-tabbed-as-league-favorite-in-2025-26.aspx

Am I smoking crayons or is Bergman still just a sophomore this year?

It is entirely possible I am hallucinating.

I agree with this completely.  Though the LP biz community probably wants more downtime for people to shop.
