Bergmann is a junior this coming season.  However, I wonder if there is a possibility she could be selected for the U.S. Olympic team as she performed very well at the Collegiate Series this past August in Lake Placid.

If she is picked, they don't centralize the team anymore, so I'm not sure if it'd be a situation where she'd sit out the season to preserve eligibility. Though the Olympics would be at the same time as the college postseason, so not ideal.

I wonder why the writer chose to identify RPI with the full "Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute" while not identifying any of the other 11 as "University" or "College" as appropriate.

Yeah, was surprised this year's class was not bigger, but the class for fall 2026 is shaping up to be bigger than this season's senior class. Just hope the team stays as healthy as possible this season, I guess.

Staying healthy is clearly important but for context, remember that there were 18 players on the 2009-2010 team that lost the national championship game in triple overtime.

What better way to kick off the 2025 season than to showcase our very successful 2024-25 season with the unveiling of our championship banners?  It is our goal to carry the momentum into this season and hang more banners in 2025-26!

Brianne Jenner '15 and Jillian Saulnier '15 Class of 2025 Cornell Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees

Brianne Jenner and Jillian Saulnier will be in attendance this weekend and we are so excited to get the chance to honor them after the game on Saturday.  We hope you will join us in viewing an on-ice tribute to Bri and Jill.  Dr. Nicki Moore will welcome Bri, Jill and their families out on the ice, followed by a highlight video of their storied careers on the scoreboard.  Bri and Jill will be available after the game in the main foyer of Lynah Rink to distribute signed Hall of Fame Cards.
