After watching the swarming defensive sets Richmond put out there, the Princeton and Syracuse defenses look quaint and puny.

The goal pipes at Hofstra are getting hammered today.

The best part of this game is that one of them has to lose.

In true Harvard fashion they will choke
Cuse with 6 straight to go up 12-11.
Syracuse gags it back. With more time on the shot clock than game clock, Harvard forces a turnover and ties it with 6 seconds left.

I'm actually pulling for Syracuse because I don't want Princeton to completely coast to championship weekend.

I think they are regardless.

PRINCETON IS OUT

Cuse wins a thriller, 19-18. One goal lead for Cuse for the last few minutes as they hit the pipe over and over while McCool made two clutch saves including one with 30 seconds left.

I'll be at the games in Annapolis tomorrow. Rooting for penn state for payback and bc who wants to play the defending champion. Also rooting for Georgetown because well Maryland

I was sorry to see Princeton get eliminated today.  You want offense, you got it in that Princeton/Syracuse game--it was 11-10 Princeton---AT THE HALF--while Cornell grinded out a 13-12 final.  Would have been nice to have two Ivy league teams in the final four again.  Both Penn State and Notre Dame scare me.  Notre Dame scares me slighlty more (even though if, before the NCAA tournament, I had to list 2025 oopponents that I would NOT want to see again, #2 on the list would have been Penn State.  Richmond would have been #1.)

Unless Penn State gets its act together, that's not going to happen. Notre Dame ahead, 8-3, late in second quarter.

I think Penn State makes a run but I don't know if they have the horses against ND. If ND holds on, we'll be facing a championship club with a lot of pride. We'll have to play our best lacrosse of the year to keep the caravan moving.

[maybe comment ND-PS under its own subheading]

12-9 ND, end of 3rd.

That last Traynor Gait-like dive goal was amazing!

I thought of Gait on that one, too.

PSU not giving up yet.
