NCAAs 1st rd. Cornell vs. MSU

One of the absolute wildest things about this game was that I can't recall Cornell completing more than a few cross-ice passes on the PP this ENTIRE SEASON. That pass was never available, to the point where it seemed Cornell gave up even looking for it. And then somehow with 10 seconds left in the NCAA tournament they completed two such passes CONSECUTIVELY.

I noticed earlier in the season that the second PP unit looked kind of okay, maybe they should have gotten more opportunities over the course of the year.

I remember wanting to go to that UNH game up in Durham that year but didnt, maybe because of a big snowstorm?

I dont recall losing to them in the NCAAs later that season.

I do recall losing to them in Buffalo, since I was there, my sophomore year...

There was a huge snowstorm. I recall driving home with my then girlfriend (now wife) and being genuinely terrified.

The first round NCAA loss to UNH was the same weekend as basketball in the sweet 16 vs Kentucky.

Yep.  I went to the game in Syracuse and then drove to Albany the next day.

Sadly, I drove home the day after that.

while the whole sequence was nice, on replay how good the saucer pass from Mack to Major was stood out
Major made that look easy, and I would venture there arent many guys on the team with the hands to collect that and then send it back
