Great run by Tillman for 8 for a first down to chew clock. Another from Tillman for 6. Tillman again for 10. Delay of game. ugh. Clock under 10. Tillman again for 7 across midfield. Tillman again but no blocking; back to the wrong side of midfield lol. New RB (Reed) gets it across the 50 but Cornell will punt on 4th and 10. Another delay of game but maybe intentional. Punt blocked and Princeton will take over at around the 30.

Princeton not giving up. Princeton WR screen finally gets good blocking and results in a 20 yard TD. 49-28. ~6 minutes left. Today, the clock is our friend.

Watching Cornell get good blocking up front and yards on the run gives me much joy.

Princeton goes for an onside kick but Cornell falls on the ball at midfield. 4 yards and a cloud of dust offense. 4, 5, 3. Try an outside run for a loss of 3. Back to the run for 2. Cornell goes for it from the 40 rather than punt. Gets stopped after a short gain but the clock is down to 2:30. Whoops down and distance chyron was wrong and I lost track; that was 3d down. They line up to go for it but Wang quick-kick punts and downs it inside the 5.

SO much joy. Other than the discipline issues, this game has been a lot of fun to watch. And the run defense has been amazing; 31 carries for 87 yards. Cornell is at 37/187.

Cornell pulled the tackle and guard to get some lead blocking on the edge. That's one way to get a push!

Princeton gets a first down and it's the 2 minute warning. Another first down on a pass across the middle but the clock keeps moving. And again. Prevent defense. Princeton is up to the 44. Another Cornell sack; QB nearly got away but it's a loss of 1. Complete and out of bounds for another first down. 1:14 remaining. Good coverage; incomplete. Complete over the middle for 5 clock is under a minute and running. Scramble, dump off for a first but the receiver falls down tick tick tick. Scramble, nobody open throws it away incomplete 0:24. Only suspense is how cool the final score looks. Caught for another first down, OOB inside the 15. Pass to an uncovered receiver in the back of the end zone boo. 49-35. Props to the kickers for going 12 for 12 on XPs today.

Musungu in on the hands team grabs the onside kick attempt. Kneeldown coming. Victory formation at Princeton's homecoming. Backup QB Dylan Hale takes the snap. Love it.

49-35 final. Totally dominant when it mattered.

Safe to say we hired the right coach. Another feather in Nikki Moore's getting-crowded-with-feathers cap.

Always an insult to be scheduled for someone's homecoming.  Primary color!  Secondary color!

Fascinating to watch Cornell and Columbia's rise. Two d3 coaches come on and immediately improve.  Columbia had the advantage of the Bagnoli culture improvement.  Swanstfon truly from scratch.

Women can run big things well. Just a thought.

Correct

I am a "Walter Mitty" offensive coordinator.   Star QB Wang had another impressive game, but we rushed for nearly 200 yards today and the Big Red led the entire afternoon.   Granted Princeton is probably a little down this year, but great to see Cornell finally win one against the Tigers.  Go Big Red!

And anyone who thinks differently about that at this point has been asleep for the last forty years or so. To my mind, endlessly celebrating the sex of the people who are now running things is a particularly weird extension of the dying former paradigm.

I am enormously impressed with her. Best athletic director since that guy with the same name.

The new CEO of Athletics!
