Quote from: IcebergMarino was a solid D and touted along with Fox as guys that could transform Harvard's team (which they did). Fox has always been the better defenseman but Marino was no slouch
I think the reason Trotsky doesn't remember Marino, other than the hard drugs, is that Marino was at best the third best offensive defenseman on those teams behind Fox and Walsh (and maybe others I'm forgetting). As a result, Marino didn't get much PP time and didn't put up big numbers. Those Harvard teams were so loaded.

he's going to prove himself very quickly imo. i don't know if that means the NHL this year or next but he's going to get the call eventually. unless he's older than i remember (and i don't think of him as young).

Stienburg had an eventful night against Tampa.  Two huge hits.  The second one drew a charging major.

Do I remember correctly that he was not that aggressive at Cornell?

arugula

Just saw the hit.  Bad hit, he jumped and lots of head contact

He got a lot of love on NHL Now (on NHL Network) tonight for his hits, too.

He was made of glass because one freak accident resulted in him injuring his spleen?

I thought he was repeatedly injured.  The Times regrets the error.

I do believe that he broke his leg when he returned to juniors during the canceled season.  Had a run of bad luck
