And we take it, 5-1, easy. Tomorrow, Dartmouth. Let's go.

Our men (0 for 20) need to watch this!

Back at it! Let's see the women do what the men couldn't - give Dartmouth a beat down :)

(Also, remind me to begin sending in frequent complaints to TCAT that they refuse to have buses go more than once an hour to Corson. If I have to do the walk up from Carpenter again, I swear...)

Fleming for slashing. Just saw three guys scamper over to the left side of the penalty box (like, Section C rows 1 and 2) and try to get her attention, breathing on the glass and drawing a heart. Yuck. Penalty box lady told them off but like. What the fuck??? Do people think this is reasonable behavior???

And she scores!!! God damn this women's team is good.

Second goal, but under review. I think it was whistled before it went in :(

Edit: COUNTS!

I'm like 90% sure I heard the whistle before the goal but I'll take it.

Same LOL. I was FULLY expecting Dartmouth to challenge.

Observation from my first game at Lynah this season: The PA system has gotten to the point where it is somehow both too loud and too quiet at the same time. What's involved in getting the tech that live captions PA announcements on the scoreboard? This is standard at pro arenas and really should be required for accessibility reasons IMO.

I'm sure it couldn't be THAT tough to get on there. Harder is finding someone to transcribe everything said with speed.

4-0 win today for Bergmann's fifth shutout of the season. Nice to get a better feel for this team seeing it in person. That Chan-Delianedis-Fleming line should get better as they play more games together.

Side note: Eveey season I'm amused by how Derraugh has no qualms at all burning his timeout in a situation like today, up 2-0 with five minutes left in the first. The team did not play great after it went up 2-0, so I guess he wanted to make sure they didn't give one up there after the icing to let Dartmouth back in it.

I think part of why he used that timeout was it looked like one of the girls (I think 2, maybe 3) got hit by a stinger and needed the breather? Specially cause the refs seemed to want the same line back out.

Cornell rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period on Friday to tie Quinnipiac, 3-3. Cornell had a chance to win the game in OT after Q was called for too many women on the ice, but we couldn't score on the power play. Q had a power play for the final 30 seconds or so.
For what it's worth, Cornell won the shootout, 2-1.
Another tough road game Saturday at 3 in Princeton.
