Quote from: WederThe Red have won 3 in a row after sweeping Yale and Brown on the road, 2-0 and 2-1. Brown's goal game on a 6x4 late in the third that broke something like a 200-minute shutout streak for Cornell. Pretty good results for Cornell with Rory Guilday and Karel Prefontaine not in the lineup.

What's up with Prefontainte? Is she injured?

Weder

I think so. Pretty sure she hasn't played since the tournament at Ohio State.

I wasn't able to watch any of the games this past weekend. Does anyone know the seriousness of Guilday's injury? Having both her and Prefontaine out of the lineup would explain why we are having so much trouble scoring goals.

Guilday isn't hurt. She was with Team USA for games against Canada.

Lineups for Brown this past Saturday:

K. Chan - Delianedis - Fleming
Rud - Van Gelder - Adams
Schiff - Avar - Jockims
C. Chan - Perron-Roy - Yu

R. Dwyer - G. Dwyer
Regalado - Messier
Thibodeau - Grober

Overall, much much improvement in passing and skating last week.  I think the lines are starting to gel a lot better and I the passing is becoming a lot more crisp and confident.

This weekend, the bottom two teams in the ECAC (Harvard and Dartmouth) come into Lynah.  We should get Guilday back from the Rivalry Series although Derraugh may choose to give her some rest.

Anyone more tied in know what the deal is with Préfontaine and when she is expected back?

Harvard game today!!! :D Assuming fish are not thrown at women's games, correct? Just to check.
Also, is it taboo to try to stream the men's game on my phone while the women are playing? Just to keep an eye on the scoreboard, because that's who everyone talks about...
Anyways, will be one of about twenty (rough guesstimate) spectators at Lynah today, if anyone else is around to shoot the shit. Is it bad I prefer hockey to the fall formal at the law school happening today? Maybe, but eh... am I rambling again? :')

Weder

No fish for the game. Harvard usually brings out a good crowd. I'm in town but probably can't make the game tonight, unfortunately. I'm planning to go tomorrow, though.

I see Préfontaine warming up. #19, right?

billchu

She is #19.  If she plays, that should give a boost to the offense.

She's on the bench... and is taking her first shift now!

#9 for Harvard took a nasty spill. No idea what happened. Medical staff out there with her.
