We currently have the 4th best winning percentage in D1.

But getting no help from other teams. I think we might be back to 14th soon. Hopefully Michigan State hangs on vs Michigan so we stay there.

PC winning at Maine hurt.

Way too sloppy a 3rd period.. So many times we just needed to clear the zone and got too fancy and we had to scramble around to protect.

couldn't watch but hard to complain about 6-1. get those highlights up.

I'm still confused why random teams like Union and Dartmouth have much more fluid motion on their PP and create so many more chances than we do. From zone entries to O-zone playmaking, why are we clearly worse at the PP than otherwise lesser teams?

By the way, does anyone know why Fegaras was scratched? Did he finish last night's game or did he get hurt?

upprdeck

I thought mid game they said he got dinged last night and barely got off the ice?

Did the Union or RPI announcers say that?

In the Union pre-game on WHCU with Jason, Schafer said Fegaras was dinged up just at the end of the RPI game, and didn't appreciate it was more than a stinger until he was back in the locker room. He should be okay for practice as early as Tuesday, but could not go against Union.

Thanks. I never listen to these pre-game interviews, but maybe I should, as there is some good information in there. How long do these interviews usually go, and is there a place to listen to them online after the fact?

Trotsky

Jason interviews Schafer, Flanagan, or Syer from 6:35-6:40, the opposing coach from 6:45-6:50, and then does keys to the game from 6:55-7:00.

I find the interviews interesting.

Deep cut Harkness joke.  Harkness came from RPI.  Harkness lightened the Cornell sweater color from Carnellian to RPI's color, cherry.  Harkness went on to Union after his Red Wings stint (and was canned for recruiting improprieties).
Ned was not canned at Union.  He resigned.  The final thing leading to his resignation was someone at the school leaking the grade point averages of his players to the school newspaper.  Ned believed it was the Admissions Office who also was not happy with Union moving up to D-I and leaving NESCAC, as they felt hockey was getting overemphasized at the school.  Tom Bonner, who was Union's president at the time, was a big supporter of Ned.
