Look no further than this. Head coach David Archer and OC Joe villapiano have yet to get new coaching roles elsewhere.

Unlike basketball, football has so many players on the field at once that one or two players can't influence the outcome by themselves. Look, for example, at Barry Sanders and the Detroit Lions.

Jalyx Hunt, a DE at Houston Christian and expected to be an OLB in Philly, was a Safety for Archer. Nourzad was RT at Cornell and switched to C for Penn State but that seems more a function of where you'd expect an Ivy tackle to move when transferring to a top B1G program. He also apparently wasn't much of a recruit but stepped right into the starting lineup at Cornell and was so good in two years with us that he got yanked up to his level.

Former Cornell kicker/punter Jackson Kennedy will transfer to Syracuse, he announced on Monday night. Kennedy was an All-Ivy Second Team kicker last year, handling placekicking, punting and field goal duties for the Big Red.

CornellBigRed says he is a senior.  His post on X says he's a grad transfer with two years of eligibility.

upprdeck

He had covid YR and didn't play 1 year so those years don't count.  he has 2 years left for the NCAA

However, he is a SR at Cornell since he graduated most likely this year since he can't be a grad student.

the nicest way i can put this is i wouldn't use the class year on cornellbigred dot com as evidence in court

Cornell had their spring game yesterday.  Now it's waiting until training camp begins in August.

And somehow Cornell still couldn't come away with a win

Of course. They're getting ready for the fall.

Would be nice to have a decent football team this year.

We still have the Ivies' best homecoming fireworks. Friday 9/27 before the Yale game. Maybe I'll stream The Miracle Worker to get in a positive mood.

Sorry, but I just don't understand the fireworks show. I've gone to a lot of homecoming weekends, and I've never had a desire to go to that. Maybe save the money they literally set on fire and save it for a Schoellkopf renovation that's being discussed in another thread.
