At 12-6 Cornell, we can lose two-thirds of the FOs, pick up more GBs, trade them goal for goal, and finish the game with the score 18-12. But that's if, if and if.

2 and 27 caught on D again.

Not a good period giving up 5.

Didn't see but that's a really good win after a long bus ride in the winter. 60 shots to 39 on the stats!  We're playing some defense out there.

Aiden Blake is missing all of his close in shots,  Gimmees.

Cornell at Ohio State was doing all the blue-collar stuff good: GBs picked up, caused turnovers, clears. Also avoiding penalties. Except faceoffs.

One year Cornell will have a dominant FOGO and the next year the NCAA rule changes to, other team gets the ball after a goal.

Cascadden will be fine and gives us a chance on almost every draw

Agreed. And he's early in his career.

By May we may be thinking of Face-offs a strength.

the one thing today was that the FO game was really a staleement much of the time and few breakout goals.

Most resulted in 50-50 ground balls.

Interesting, CJ Kirst is usually pretty accurate at shooting. Today, 4x14. For the season's first four games, 20x50, .400. Ohio State-game stats below. But he also has more than a third of Cornell's goals, 20 in four games.

Notre Dame, 13-12, in the third overtime. Not sure who I wanted to win. Other than the voters are probably dying for a reason to vote the Terps above Cornell. Announced attendance at Maryland, 6,001.

I watched most of the Md-ND game. Both teams are, IMO, playing on a noticably higher level than Cornell.

All shall be resolved in May.
