Serious question: how does stienburg get scrappiness and effort unless the awards are for rehabilitation, not game time?
Because to my eyes he is the scrappiest player when he's on the ice. He has played the same number of games as DeSantis. Do you also think DeSantis should not win MVF?

I'm shocked to see they played the same number of games; goes to show how invisible Steinberg has been. Besides, how many games did Steinberg leave early from...at least 2, right?

Much easier case.to be made for Desantis since they're only 5 or 6, whatever freshmen and he's outscoring them all.  And as to games played, he sat most of those games at the beginning of the season, right? So he's come on in form.

If we really.dont care about getting that many games, then I'd vote for wallace.  He's almost too scrappy for his own good when he gets in.

How about a TBRW ELF awards?

What do you suppose is the most important factor in successfully recruiting talented college hockey players?

It's the number of puppies present on a campus. Do I win?

Quote from: osorojoWhat do you suppose is the most important factor in successfully recruiting talented college hockey players?

The most important factor in successfully recruiting talented college hockey players is likely a combination of a strong coaching staff, a winning program, and the ability to provide the player with the resources and support they need to develop both on and off the ice. Additionally, a school's location, academic reputation, and overall team culture can also play a significant role in a player's decision to commit to a program.

I hope not, as there are very few, if any, dogs roaming around on campus these days.  Back in the day, a highlight of football games was a couple of dogs running around the field with refs and staff trying to corral them.  First they were banished from the libraries, because old books were bound with horse glue and dogs liked to lick the spines.  Later they were banned from all buildings.  What's the problem with a few hairs in a Petri dish?

True story - a friend adopted a female black lab, Wanda.  Chris was a devout Catholic who went to mass most Sundays at Anabel Taylor.  Once when she was in heat, he left her home, but not her odor.  He was followed into the chapel by a pack of male dogs, one of whom humped him in the aisle.  Dogs have a knack for adding levity to the most somber of occasions.
