You could be right, I'm just saying Song has not  been  working out with the rest of the upperclassman.

Hopefully they waited till this year to enroll.

Our collective memory seems wanting.  What I thought was that there is a one year "waiver" for the Ivy class of '22 to play a grad year without transferring. That's one of the reasons that I thought Regush left.

I hope my memory is wrong.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

None of this makes any sense to me.

My assumption is the Ivies have their restrictions in place to maintain at least lip service to the ideal of being an actual student rather than just a rockhead with a slapshot.  OK, fine, I can get behind that principle whatever I think of their real thinking (hypocrisy) or execution (risible).

But in the case of the pandemic obviously these guys are not trying to put one over on them.  They're victims.  So the fuck wouldn't the Ivies simply waive all eligibility restrictions other than the NC$$'s, just for the students from the last 5 classes, who were screwed through no fault of their own?  Are they really that petty?

I understand that at the level of these institutions everything is driven by the worst possible motives, and that you would not want any of these people in charge of anything with human repercussions in a good world.  But, given Our Timeline, what would have been the harm to the Ivies to dispense with the charade just this once?

Quote from: Dragon15Talked to Betts and Haiskanen today, definitely staying and excited to get back at it. Have seen most of players on the list, except Stienburg ,Regush,Leahy and song.
i've also never seen song

What happened to Song?  Just because you haven't seen him on campus, you presume he's not returning to the team?  He's a rising senior so has one more year of Ivy eligibility.  His LinkedIn says he has a NYC i-banking summer internship, so perhaps he's just not on campus at the moment.
whoosh
