From the article:

QuoteThe Big Red is 22-3-4 in its last 28 Ivy League contests.

Um.

This is sweet:

QuoteOpponents have taken a one-goal lead on the Big Red 14 times this season, and in 12 of those instances Cornell has scored the next goal.

And that, boys and girls, is how titles are won.

And the article says that we win the Ivy title with a point, as noted in the other thread, not how it's shown on the Ivy webpage.

Mea culpa.

TBH I think the article is wrong and you're right, except of course it's morally wrong.

Whatever.  Let's win both games and make it all moot.

upprdeck

At first I thought it was saying we trailed in 14 games because of that stat.

As I posted on another thread, I'm worried about Yale game. Yale is coming off a tie at Harvard and a road win at Dartmouth last weekend and lost to Q in OT the previous weekend. If we're not on top of our game, we could be in trouble.

Agree, I'm glad it's the Friday game. They shouldn't be looking past them.

Yeah. And last year's game in New Haven wasn't pretty. Hopefully memories of that 5-2 beating (it wasn't even as close as the score suggests -- Yale outshot us 35-29) will motivate our guys to be on top of their game. Revenge & retribution seem to be the in thing this month.

These jerkwater papers freezing on ad blockers is starting to become annoying.

I use two browsers.  One with an ad blocker, one without.  I use the former most of the time, but when I really want to see something that's ad blocked, , I copy the link into the latter.  It deals with the worst offenders.

Yeah, I thought about this, like I've also thought about having an incognito browser.  But in all honesty since the point is to not trade something (info, time, effort) to the vampire squid, I just go without whatever content I'm missing.  It's not as if any of it is worth even a microsecond of life worrying about.

In a better future, everything will be available freely to everyone and nobody will pay any attention to it but simply live.  Then we might even be people again.
