While we're passing out the end-of-season Thank You's, let's not forget to thank Age for making eLynah possible.  He pours an incredible amount of time and energy into creating and maintaining this wonderful discussion forum and taking, processing and posting his incredible photographs - for no other reason than he sees the need for it to be done.  All of us (parents, alumni, current students) benefit tremendously from his efforts.

So Age - thank you!

Word.  I've met some nice people from eLynah...even Age briefly at Dunbar's.  Age, thanks for giving me a place to talk hockey with knowledgable, passionate people!

Thanks, Age, for maintaining and contributing to the forum (and the invaluable ticket exchange).  Here's hoping we see the return of HockeyCam next season!

Age, I agree wholeheartedly. However, I wanted to ask you a question. If I am reading the last post in a topic and I click on 'next message,' it goes to the most recent post in the next topic, rather than the first one. It used to go to the top of the next topic, so I could keep clicking on 'next message' and read through. However, this way I have to scroll looking for the oldest one. Is there any way you could fix it so it doesn't do that anymore? It's just a pet peeve of mine

Thanks, Age.

And thanks to Kyle as well (who stopped by a couple of times recently) for getting this community together in the first place.  And I guess thanks to Neil over at the Clarkson Roundtable where many of us met before Cornell had a board of its own.

I'm jumping on this bandwagon!! It is nice to read intelligent conversation without all of the useless babble that is seen over at USCHO.
Thanks to all the posters too. (except #3)

Since I got to thank Age in person in Buffalo (even though he had no idea who I was!), I want to thank all of the regular (and not so regular) posters who have kept me informed this year. I lurk b/c i don't really have anything constructive to add, but I really appreciate the informed, intelligent conversations that go on here.

Thank you Age.  Without you, those of us who live FAR AWAY from Lynah Rink would have a hard time keeping up with the Big Red's outstanding exploits this past season (and a few back as well).  Can we imagine life without WWW and eLynah in particular?  :-P

Enjoy your off-season, Age.  And since it is April, it is time to say, Go Giants!  (11-1, best record in MLB so far.)

You and I, and many others here, certainly can, based on experience.  I remember thinking how great it was when you used to be able to pay some per-minute fee to listen to the hockey radio broadcasts on the telephone.  A great deal of my law school "book money" went to the coffers of whatever corporation was running that system.

After I graduated in 67 I spent a year in Boston in grad school. A few other grads and myself couldn't make the NCAA's,so we phoned a friend in Ithaca who had hooked his phone to the radio, and we had ours hooked to a stereo system to listen to the games. Hung up during intermission and reconnected at each period.

Hey, I just realized, we invented the internet:-D  a la Al Gore.
